Our Mission

The Wrightman Foundation for Historic Preservation is dedicated to safeguarding Idaho’s rich heritage for present and future generations. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, our mission is to preserve, protect, and celebrate local Idaho history in all its forms. We strive to educate young people and the broader community about Idaho’s unique historical legacy, fostering a deep appreciation for our shared past. Through the acquisition and preservation of historic structures, sites, and artifacts that might otherwise be lost or destroyed, we ensure that the stories and spirit of Idaho endure. Our commitment is to serve as stewards of history, inspiring pride, learning, and engagement throughout Idaho’s communities.
